Wait until everyone is safely single and ready to mingle.

First off, scary news bit. I actually saw the video on television and I was blown away. What do you do once you've just realized that you ended someone elses life by accident?

Tonight Rob and I ventured to Wal-Mart to buy some groceries. Three dollar pizza never seemed so appealing. I hate having to watch what I spend.

As I watched Robert try to deal with the idea of having to buy the Equate brand shampoo, I realized that I despise those kids who have their youth funded just because they are someone's children. Spoiled brats think summer jobs make any sort of difference.

Bitter?

Tonight I picked up a book at Chapters. Which was a mistake because in addition to the novels I got for Christmas and the ones I have to read for English, my reading list is full. Summer will come soon enough.

Rick Mercer is gay, cool or what.

Rick Mercer is definitely cool.

Unless "Gay" has come to mean something more awesome than awesome itself.

Robert:

Sorry if I gave the impression I meant you, because I didn't!

Your shampoo purchasing inspired my hatred for kids who can just go into Wal-Mart and pick up the most expensive shampoo off the shelf without even thinking about it because money is just being handed over by Mommy and Daddy.

As we saw by your surrender of sweet and sour sauce last night, this is not the case for you. No spoilage, and for the record I wouldn't use the adjective "ignorant" to describe you either.

More like. . . pompous.

No wait, arrogant.

Inconsiderate!

Okay, this is just one long funny joke for the record. :)

Hatred is such a frigging strong word. It cuts my brain.

Since Rob brought up the topic, I've always had a bit of an opinion on this stuff. I remember my mom joking to my grandmother once when I was younger that I was "spoiled." I quickly responded, "I'm not spoiled, Mom, I'm privileged." I'd never, ever deny the fact that I'm lucky to have parents who've done a lot for me. It's sad that, in our imperfect world, we're all treated so differently, but not everyone is an ungrateful jerk who believes it's his or her God-given right to have more than everyone else.

(and I'm not insinuating that that's the opinion of any of us.)

And, for the record, I'm one of those people who buys the expensive shampoo(I firmly believe that I need it). But not because Mommy and Daddy are handing over the money for it.

hehe
