Superstition: man's religion.

I'm pretty sure 'Dear Mr. Supercomputer' is my new favourite Sufjan song. Just putting it out there.

So today on celebrity Jeopardy they had a category called “New” York. The $1000 question was “St. John’s is the capital of this Canadian province.” and Isaac Mizrahi got it right! He couldn’t believe he got it correct. I’m always excited to see anything about Newfoundland on Jeopardy.

For Meagan: Bog Saget is hosting a new showww! It’s called 1 vs. 100 and it comes on NTV on Friday nights. Now there’s another show where you can get your Saget fix.

Gilmore Girls was a good one tonight (P.S. Did I mention a certain someone is expecting twins on that show?). Rory had a break down because she's finishing up school and she doesn't know what she's going to do with her life. She describes it as a fog.
"Once I move that tassel to the other side I have no idea what I’m going to do."
See Meagan/Holly? We're not alone. Fast-talking Gilmore's are with us.

Yeah, I know, television knowledge overload. Sue me, without classes I resorted to the two channels I have in my possession to keep the crazy at bay. Now I remember why I stopped watching television.

Dedicated to Leah II.

"SARAH I KEEP CHECKING YOUR BLOG OBSESSIVELY EVERY 5 MINUTES AND YOU NEVER POST :( "
- Leah

It looks like it's time for another Leah post!

Dear Leah,

I know I haven't been updating as much as I should be, but I really tried to last night! Blogger was down (you can ask Rob, it's true!) and would not let me on to my account. I hope you can find it in your littlest-hobo-heart to forgive me.

Today was a major piss off for me because I went to campus on two separate occasions for class and both times the Science building was closed. Apparently no one there believes in proper scheduling and organization.

It wasn't a waste of a trip, I ended up getting an Ice Cap out of it. :)

Which brings me to my awesome arrival in S'ville next month. Leah, will hanging out with everyone be a major awkward experience? Will my beautiful surprise party never again be reenacted? I'd get why it couldn't be, but it's still sucky.

I can't believe you asked for Beverley Hills 90210 tooooo! That is so random, we rock. I was going to ask for Dead Like Me as well, but I've seen them all and I don't know if I'd enjoy having them since no more will ever come out. I really want 7th Heaven S1-3 too. :)

Right now I'm reading Paint it Black the new book by Janet Fitch (the same woman who wrote White Oleander). You'd like it, you should ask for it for Christmas too. It takes place in the seventies, an aspect I don't overly-enjoy, but I think it'll suit you.

I can't wait to come home and play in the band. Make sure there's a jazz band practice after Dec. 16th, I want in! Are you doing the piano part again?

Geee, well I have to laze around a bit some more.

Love bunches,
Sarah :)

Kazakhstan.

Last night was great, the end!

Borat pwned me. Like I'm pretty sure you'll pee yourself when you go see it (which I know you will!). A lot of could be taken as offensive ("Which gun is best for killing Jew?") and some of it is downright raunchy (there's a good five minutes worth of scenes where he fights a really big fat man naked), but if you take it with a grain of salt it can be one of the funniest movies you've ever seen.

Sacha Baron Cohen is rocking.

Create post.

One of my favourite quotes from Saved by the Bell is from Lisa Turtle:
"What is art? Are we art? Is art art?"
Which leads me into: who wants to go to The Rooms with me? Ever since we passed it last S'ville night I've been thinking about it. I'd really like to go in and look around. I believe there's a special display as well about Canadian War Brides (don't quote me on that though).

So I checked out their web page and it seems that on Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm they have free admission! Soooo am I the only one that wants to go? Humor me here, people.

Last night I went to Holly's res where she cooked (yes, you heard right: cooked) supper for us. The Kraft Dinner was excellent Holly, thanks. Then we took over the television room and watched the ultimate movie: The Breakfast Club.

It was made an even better night because I got to see Grams. Although we didn't get to play cards because I sucked and was asleep by midnight. Way to ruin a person, stupid weekdays.

And now to work on some Anthropology!

Dems take it.

We inherit everything we know from the society around us. Most importantly, our family. Some of us our blessed: two loving and considerate parents. A lot of us aren’t.

These are supposed to be the best years of our lives. I’m just not feeling it.
