Indictable offence.

Here’s what’s gay: The Criminal Code of Canada.

Okay, don’t get me wrong. I love to reap it’s benefits. The whole persecution of the guilty thing is great. Not to mention gaining basic rights and freedoms.

BUT WHEN I HAVE TO PLOW THROUGH THIS:

Just to find a simple sentence or word like this:

It makes me want to hurt someone.

But then I am brought back to reality, as I am looking at the book that would determine my fate if I did indeed hurt someone.

Life kind of has that sense of humor.

Some people (aka, like two) have been telling me that my sudden overindulgence in the blogosphere has brought joy to their lives. Much obliged, though it feels different from when I used to blog pre-Iqaluit. It seemed like a more involved process then. Most likely because there were lots of comments and people were writing their own entries in response on their own blogs. Just saying people, don’t be lukewarm blog participants. GET INVOLVED!

That is a bad focal point.

So I thought the day was going to be a good one. I woke up to a hearty bowl of Honey Comb. I had no problem finding a parking spot. In my early morning POSC class I got back a test in which I received a 90%.

IT ALL WENT DOWNHILL FROM THERE.

I got a parking ticket. It wasn't my fault. The system is set up against you. Frigging MUNPO should be out preventing sexual assaults, NOT MESSING WITH MY CHEVY CAVALIER.

My Mom flipped over the $20 fine and said I should "Get a job if I plan on keeping up with these unruly spending habits." BECAUSE I PLANNED ON THAT TICKET, SHOPPED AROUND FOR A BAD PARKING PLACE IN FACT.

Then at painting class my instructor used my painting as an example of where you shouldn't put trees. I DON'T CARE THAT YOU'RE TALENTED AND I'M NOT, DON'T EMBARRASS ME IN FRONT OF THE RETIREES.

The only thing I have going for me is my scarf. And man, is it great.

Violet scarf, 20 stitches
Day Three
126cm long (that's about 4.2 feet for those who can't picture it)

I'm hoping to be able to wear it by the weekend and to end up somewhere around 8 feet when it's all said and done.

Scarf update II.

Violet scarf, 20 stitches
Day Two
71cm long

Losing my marbles.

The dreams (I had three that were both connected and separate) I had last night were some of the most vivid and in depth dreams that I've had in a really long time.

I won't share with you what went down, because than you'd think I was crazy. But I have to tell you that, Leah, you ended up dying in the end. Murdered actually by my POSC 2200 prof. Yup. All the dreams took on that sort of peculiarity.

So using just the first dream I decided to decipher it and see what my subconscious is saying:

To see marbles in your dream, symbolizes your perceptiveness, insightfulness and observation.

To dream of your hands, represents your relationship to those around you and how you connect with the world. Hands serve as a form of communication. Perhaps you need to lend out a helping hand to someone. In particular, the left hand symbolizes your graciousness and feminine, receptive qualities.

To see or sit on a bench signifies your tendency to procrastinate and put things aside. It also suggests that you often take on a passive role instead taking initiative.

To have a dream that takes place at night represents some major setbacks and obstacles in achieving your goals. There are some issues in your life that you are facing that are not too clear. You should put the issues aside so you can clear your head before coming back to it. Alternatively, night may be synonymous with death, rebirth and new beginnings.
