Secret public bathrooms.

So my dream from a couple days ago:

Where I remember it starting is me, Sarah Willett, Rob and Leanne Styles (wtf?) were walking through a school. I don’t know what school it was, but I know that it was a school.

Anyway, Leanne and I find a secret door in the brick and we sneak in and try to shut the door before Sarah and Robert see us. But Sarah sticks her hand in so the door doesn’t close.

With the four of us in the secret room I take notice that it’s a public bathroom. One wall is all windows and the other side has super tall bathroom stalls and a couple sinks.

I don’t remember what went on in the secret bathroom but I remember leaving it and knowing we were on our way to band trip.

Everyone in band was in line-ups in front of giant windowless-windows. Mr. Larade was directing everyone to get in pairs and jump out a window.

Robert and I pair up, link arms and jump out. There are huge giant slides and everyone is sliding down them. We’re sliding when I notice that behind us, people are throwing out giant bales of hay from the windows.

We reach the end of the slide and when we fly off we get separated. Mid-air I realize that we are soaring into a giant stadium audience. I land in one of the seats next to random people I don’t recognize.

I take out my phone meaning to call Robert to see where he is but instead I dial Ashley’s number. She says that I can come sit with her next to “Chris” (whoever Chris may be).

When I get up to leave, the random lady sitting next to me calls out “Thank you for sitting next to me!” I kind of give a little acknowledgment and don’t turn around.

So I start walking up the hill, instinctively knowing where to go. But there are these kids in front of me going too slow and my backpack is weighing me backwards so I constantly feel like I’m falling back.

And then I wake up.

On crack much? Interpret it!

Land of the free.

This man, in all its simplicity, makes me want to vomit. Everything that comes from his mouth screams to me 'dictator'.

Very recently, Dubya met with PM Nuri al-Maliki (of Iraq). During their time together Bush stated that American troops were not looking for a "graceful exit", but instead troops would stay until they "get the job done".

A graceful exit, Dubya? Trust me, you cannot be granted one of those now even if you wanted to. You managed to orchestrate a plan that not only killed thousands of your own people, but tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis. I really wonder, how does he sleep at night?

As to "getting the job done" I first heard this quote on the NTV news tonight. When the news announcer said that statement, I heard my Mom say quietly under her breath "idiot". My Mom never voices her opinions about what's going on in the world, so for some reason it made really obvious the insolence of this proclamation.

Other awesome-possum ideas Dubya brought to light? Well how about a trade embargo on luxury items with North Korea? What's next Bay of Pigs II?

This is truly ludicrous:
"The ban list includes some 60 expensive, brand-name items, ranging from yachts, race cars and station wagons to DVD players and television sets larger than 29 inches. . ."
How are you leader of the free world? I just don't get it.

And to top it all off: Holly will never be able to enter an American international airport ever again.
"Scientists at a U.S. weapons laboratory say they have trained bees to sniff out explosives in a project they say could have far-reaching applications for U.S. homeland security and the Iraq war. . ."
For some reason, this makes me want to cry. Life is getting so ridiculous.

And the reason I keep referencing Bush and not America? I decided not to generalize a population, because there are good people out there.

P.S. To come: Sarah's dreammm.

Noobility.

Today was absolute garbage. I'm in a horrible mood. The world is far too cold to be comfortable. And I really want a slice of pizza. :(

Oh thank heavens. I just looked at the clock and it said 9:00pm. I can go to bed soon!

Today we were given just a small taste of what the weather has in store for us this winter. And it blows. I bundled up in my long sleeves, toque and rainbow mittens in hopes of frightening off the cold. It did not work.

Tomorrow is Friday. What the hell? Weeks go too fast (days don't, unfortunately). This weekend is sure to be filled with SASF-going (yee-haw :P), play attending and SARAH SLEAN CONCERTING. Um, wonder where studying fits in?

Anddd in case you missed lunch yesterday and the explosion of canned fruit, my pants will show the damage:

It's not the worse thing that could happen.

Indecision.

My Mom spent a good two hours today harassing me about the RCMP. There was a recruitment session going on in the INCO building on campus tonight. She kept asking me if I was going and so on, and when I told her that I didn't see the point she replied angrily with "I thought that was what you wanted?"

This just makes me laugh. The last five years I've been in constant struggle with my mind because I don't know what I want.

The RCMP was a convenient option. Something to tell people when they asked me what I was doing when I "grew up", it was better than saying "Um, I don't know."

Since when was indecision a problem?

Just watch me.

During the very first class I had in Political Problems, my Prof went over everything we would cover through out the term.

Although everything did sound interesting, one thing did catch my attention. We were going to learn about the FLQ. As weird as it sounds, this made me ecstatic. I've always wanted to learn more about what was deemed the "October Crisis".

Then I discovered I wouldn't learn about anything FLQ until the very last class that he would be lecturing. What a bastard thing to do.

Anyway, that day was today and I am happy to say that I left my class (in a panic because I really had to pee) more informed about the whole subject matter. Way cool.

Who's sleeping in with me tomorrow 'cause Psych is going to blow chunks? Study a test I barely passed? No thanks.

For anyone who is still interested: Today the House voted on PM Harper's motion to declare Quebec a nation within a "united Canada". It was passed. Is Quebec any closer to seperating? No. Does this motion make me sleep any better at night? Not in the least, I'm still one giant scaredy-cat.
"Constitutional experts say the motion carries no legal weight and would be unlikely to give Quebec separatists a lever to extract more political powers from Ottawa. . ."
