There are good and bad people everywhere.
For every murderer there is a martyr.
And even then, it is not so much good and bad people, but people who make the right or wrong choices.
A single event can change the outcome of your life. Something you might not even have control over.
When did history grant us the right to label entire groups of people as something other than human beings? We assume a right over these categories, something we as fellow humans have no authority over.
What makes you better than the man who sits in a prison cell? Maybe it’s the fact you have more resources than he does. Maybe you have better control over your emotions. Maybe you just haven’t been caught.
You don’t know what it is that makes you better, just that you are.
What makes the soldier in uniform good? We tell ourselves “he’s fighting for peace and democracy!” Since when was the definition of peace war? What makes our solution the better choice?
There are good and bad people everywhere.
Don’t try and convince me an entire race, an entire country, an entire religion is evil. Don’t dictate to me this propaganda that people are actually buying into. Support the troops! Support superiority complexes! Support racial discrimination! Support hate!
How is no one else sick of this?

I have been for a while, I just can't form a coherent argument about it; you're one step ahead of me.
I'm sick of it.
Thanks for being the smart one among us who recognizes the importance of talking about these things.
