A night to remember.

Tonight was our graduation service at church, I wasn't expecting much. It was amazing. I loved the whole thing, I am so blessed to have such an amazing support system right there at my disposal. Through out the night I was reminded again and again why I've been with this church for the past 13 years.

There was music and speeches. Food and presents. Dancing and miming. And of course the pictures. We are so cute.

The Grads! Jenn, me and Jessica.

The cake!

The youth of our church. What a small bunch we are. :(

Me and my wonderful bandmaster, Garry. He has put up with a lot of poo over the years from me, Jess and Jenn.

These two young ladies are FANTASTIC. I will miss them so very, very much. Jamelia, Mrs. Anderson and I.

I received SO much stuff it was astounding. Cards (21 in total!), presents, a handmade Jamelia Anderson original drawing, a mime dedicated to us, countless hugs and a sense of belonging. Something I don't feel ever, which makes me appreciate so much more.

The original Jamelia drawing. <3

This is just one of the many thoughtful things I received. It's a cross-stiched bookmark that Andrew Rideout's mom, Hilda made me. I think it is beautiful. If you are wondering what the verse says: "For I know the plans I have for you" says the Lord. They are for good and not evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

All in all this night was amazing. I think it was so special because of the people I shared it with. Jennifer and Jessica are two people that I love dearly, if it had been someone different I don't think it would have been the same. The three of us have been a team, and I hope I'll stay in touch with them for some time to come.
