So much more than a check-up.

Today I had a dentist appointment. Ouch. Those cleanings are so brutal, it was like she was attacking my teeth. The dentist spent all of 2 minutes with me and deemed my teeth "Excellent" and added "Keep up the good work". Yay! It's like getting a 100% on a spelling test.

The best part about this appointment was waiting. Waiting, you say? Yes indeed, especially when there is a book on the table entitled "Dreams - A Guide for Interpretation". So of course I had to sit down and interpret the crazy dream I had gone through a few nights ago.

Here is what I discovered:
If you are the person acting violently in a dream, it is possible that you are feeling threatened and are attempting to "eliminate" your competition in the dream state. Your subconscious is allowing you to safely release your frustration and anger so that you are less likely to vent these emotions in the wakened state.

A burning building often indicates helplessness and fear. Perhaps you have gone too far or said too much and are unable to repair some damage that you have done to a relationship or situation.

Halls and corridors in a dream might indicate getting in touch with deep seated fears, uncertainties, or problems.

It's interesting how there is a recurring theme here. I definitely believe that dreams represent something, they're definitely just not random thoughts.

The book was very interesting and really easy to read, I kind of wanted to steal it and take it home with me. But I didn't. Too bad.
