There was a commercial on television last night that had me captivated. It started out with a man picking up a toy for a little kid in a stroller who had dropped it. The mom saw this and in turn helped a man in a coffee shop not spill his coffee. Then he did something nice and so on. This actually went on for at least a dozen people.
The whole idea of the “pay it forward” concept has amazed me. I try to apply it to my own life as much as I can. Sometimes it’s hard, but I am the kind of person who holds open doors, tell a cashier to have a nice day/evening, offer a smile to someone walking past me and so on.
I think if everyone applied that concept to their everyday lives with conscious effort, this place we call Earth would be far better.
So today, for me, apply the “pay it forward” concept. Who knows? Maybe it will come full turn and you’ll get that smile/kind gesture back. :)
Now, I am off to camp in the rain. This should be an experience.
P.S. I will update on Angelina and Anderson when I return tomorrow! It was interesting. . .
